The current currency is flawed and unusable. A hollow-shelled lie of a thing, a facade destined to fail as it tries desperately to imitate the giants of the American, Canadian, and Australian dollars.
I am here to fix that issue.
The Tegovian Dollar is not a dollar. Fundamentally. The dollar is represented by the "$" symbol. With exceptions mostly being things such as the "HK$" for Hong Kong.
In every nation that uses a dollar it is represented with a $.
We do not represent it as such, we use the "𝕋". We are not a dollar.
#THE AMENDMENT
\[I\] The official currency of Teen Government is prohibited from being recognized as a dollar by the government.
\[II\] The temporary name will be the "Tegovian Coin" until the Council passes a bill changing the name.
\[III\] This amendment goes into effect immediately after passing
