Definitions: Mental health: Mental health is a state of mental well-being that enables people to cope with the stresses of life, realize their abilities, learn and work well, and contribute to their community. It has intrinsic and instrumental value and is a basic human right. -Mental health Self-Harm: Harm done to oneself. Suicide: The act of intentionally causing one's own death. Suicide - Wikipedia Article I: Limitation of the person, in terms of mental health. 1.1: Henceforth, no individual may publicly speak about mental issues or disorders of another individual without the following conditions. (a): Direct consent from the spoken of an individual. (b): Done in specifically mental health-related servers/channels, and done with the person of the topic being present and aware. 1.2: If an individual refuses to be spoken to about their own mental health, then it is prohibited for another individual to speak about the other’s mental health. Article II: Common sense. 2.1: Encouragement of Self-Harm, Suicide, or bringing harm to another individual is strictly outlawed inside Teen Government. 2.2: Telling an individual to do Self-Harm, with a weapon, is strictly prohibited. 2.3: Directly telling an individual any of the following, in any variation, is prohibited. (a): “Kill yourself” (b): “I hope you die” (c) : “You’re worthless” The court's discretion and interpretation is to be responsible for any case which doesn’t spread to the 3 listed. Any sort of encouragement or direction towards telling an individual to kill themselves is outlawed. 2.4: Under the following conditions, 2.1, 2.2, and 2.3 are null and void. (a): Consent of the other individual is given. (b): The encouragement was given to a fictional creature/person. Article III: Judiciary. 3.1: If a court finds an individual guilty of encouragement of self-harm, suicide, or encouragement of bringing harm, the following is to occur. First occurrence, an individual found guilty, a minimum of a one month's ban must be given. Upon the second occurrence, a user found guilty must be given a minimum of three months' ban. Third occurrence, an individual found guilty, is to be automatically banned from Teen Government, as well as the occurrence of Digital Capital Punishment. 3.2: Upon passing, this shall immediately amend “Digital Capital Punishment Act V2” to include encouragement for self-harm, Suicide, or bringing harm to another individual, once the third count occurs.
