Ever wondered why time moves slower in space? When an object moves very fast or is close to something very massive, like Earth or a black hole, time slows down for it compared to objects farther away or moving slower. This effect is called time dilation and was predicted by Einstein. Astronauts on the ISS age very slightly slower than people on Earth, and GPS satellites must correct for this effect or your location would slowly become wrong. And remember: innovation starts with education! Come back next week for your next science fact!
