umm... not nazi and evil would be the main criteria

Hmmm that still leaves us with every but 1 party could you awnser me this: Are you looking for something more prograsive or traditinal? Would you rather have something left or right? Would you rather be in a big or small party?(keep in mind biger party's mean less chance of being a candidate for council.)
larabalalala  2026-03-05 14:20 UTC  ↑3  OP
progressive, more towards the left, I don't really know if i want to be in the council so big and small doesn't matter currently

that comes down to VIES and DIP. VIES are a big party using allot of hazbin hotel stuff. DIP is a smaller party focused on progress and has their own school. Both party's are friends of eachother so it does not really mather

the big progressive caucus is SL, the Social-Liberal party. If you're already in Vicetek you could join VIES.

Uhm no I would not say SL in any where near progresive you keep most things as they are and don't try new stuff.
Due_Camel6262  2026-03-05 16:00 UTC  ↑5
That's entirely a falsehood, we wrote the constitution with ideas that are usually considered very progressive.
Different_Car_5558  2026-03-05 16:05 UTC  ↑-1
That’s true, but SL isn’t considered a progressive party. VIES and DIP focus on progressivism, while SL is mainly just about being socially liberal (hence the name).

Considered by who?
Bob-The15th  2026-03-05 14:54 UTC  ↑3
Well, from what you say some options beyond what was recommended by Different already is the SL (Socialist Liberals) Who have Socialists and Liberals, standard big tent left party, that's the largest party, and the USF (United Socialist Front) Who, as the name suggests, is a Socialist party for any Socialist if you happen to be one. Both are in UNICOL (United Coalition of the Laft).

Don't forget the lion party!
Bob-The15th  2026-03-05 15:03 UTC  ↑2
I don't think someone "More towards the left" would find that party ideal
Different_Car_5558  2026-03-05 15:04 UTC  ↑3
Yes that is correct
Different_Car_5558  2026-03-05 15:05 UTC  ↑3
Also are you the leader of the USF?
Bob-The15th  2026-03-05 15:19 UTC  ↑2
Not leader but co-chair, also you gotta be somewhat more clear on what you talk about when you say "progressive" as that can also mean "new deal style leftist" or "left wing" or "left wing but not socialist" or "socially left wing" to a lot of people.
Different_Car_5558  2026-03-05 15:22 UTC  ↑3
ohhhh I mean prograsive as prograsive in the political compass.....
