Article I: Purpose

1.1 The purpose of this Act is to provide accessible, government supported mental health resources for teens to ensure early support, crisis care, and general assistance.

Article II: Definitions

2.1 Mental Health Support Services means availability to hear out a teen by a select team of users, crisis support and public awareness efforts.

2.2 Government Support means funding, selection of people to join the support team and establishment of accessible services.

Article III: Government Mental Health Support Programs

3.1 The government should establish a Teen Mental Health Support Program (TMHSP) tasked with expanding mental health services available to teens within this community.

3.2 The TMHSP shall be funded through government budget appropriations and may provide grants to mental health organizations.

Article IV: Crisis Response

4.1 The TMHSP shall create and maintain a Crisis Response Unit that offers ***anonymous*** support for teens in distress.

4.2 The Crisis Response Unit should publish a clear guide on how to access support services in multiple accessible formats.

4.3 Providing support post crisis response shall be compulsory, along with surveillance depending on the intensity of the crisis.

Article V: Public Awareness

5.1 The government shall run campaigns to raise teen mental health awareness, with particular focus on destigmatizing help‑seeking behavior.

Article VI: Reporting

6.1 The TMHSP shall submit a monthly report to the TeenGovernment council:

1. Feedback from anonymous teen users in the form of a poll.
2. Anonymous recommendations for improvements.

Article VII: Recruitment

7.1 A board shall be appointed by the council for the selection of the team and a notice shall be put out asking for volunteers.

7.2 Candidates must volunteer to be counted in the selection process.

7.3 The selection process must include interviews, filling out certain sample crisis response sheets designed by a person appointed by the council.

Article VIII: Appointment

8.1 Candidates who passed the initial stage of recruitment shall be included in a poll, where the public anonymously choses the members they would like to have in the team.

8.2 There must be a minimum of 3 members in the TMHSP.

8.3 There must be a monthly re-election and recruitment drive.

Small problems, we don't really have a budget or money yet because the economy hasn't been made, also ideally this should be a "non high official team" so that we can actually get enough people to do it, and there should be a clearer appointment process.

Council already voted it down so I would repropose it in the revised form, also I wouldn't mention funding in this case.

The team of users concerns me. Do you hire people? Do you select people? That needs to be defined immediately; if not this is really hard to enforce. And, the big thing here, should have an after. You can save someone from a mental health crisis, but you can't just leave them there. I'd say a bill on continued support and minor surveillance so they are 100% And, for the 6.1, don't like that generally. I don't think most people would want their crisis publicly posted. Should be entirely private, imo. BUT, out of these complaints, amazing bill, support it
