Article 1: stand your ground laws are defined as laws saying that while on your property you can fire weapons at another and have it treated as self defense Article 2: Stand your ground laws shall be null and void after the creation of this amendment Article 3: Self Defense laws are laws allowing and defining protections against being attacked or shot upon, shall not be affected by this Article 4: it shall go into effect immediately after passing

Normal stand your ground laws Already can only be used when you are in imminent danger and risk of being harmed I thibk

Maybe, however that’s incredibly hard to tell, like a woman shot and killed another person who was trying to get their kids iPad back that she stole; and they claimed stand your ground law

To replace with what? A duty to retreat? Are you proposing that if someone breaks into your house, all you can do is lock yourself in your bedroom and wait as they take everything?

That would mean you are in a case where you can defend yourself, as they are taking your property and endangering you, stand your ground laws make even the slightest amount of aggravation can be returned by gunfire
