Preamble: We deserve protection and should be able to provide that for ourselves if necessary. We should also be allowed to hunt for subsistence.

Section I: Definitions

Firearm: a firearm is a device that uses combustion or pneumatic forces to propel a projectile   
Small Arms: a firearm intended for the use of one person, and that is able to be easily carried by a sole person.  
Large Arms: a firearm intended to be operated by multiple people simultaneously, which can not be carried by a sole person  
Automatic Firearm: a firearm capable of firing multiple bullets by pressing down a trigger once, and not needing to draw back the bolt manually, non-simultaneously   
Semi-Automatic Firearm: a firearm capable of firing multiple times without drawing back the bolt manually  
Historical Firearm: a firearm which was manufactured at least 50 years from present date.

Section II: Ownership

Article I: Any registered citizen, who has not been convicted of a crime, may own a firearm for hunting or self-defense purposes.  
Article II: All firearms must be registered with a government official and licensed for ownership.  
Article III: Any automatic firearms are deemed unsafe and require strict regulation.  
Clause I: Persons seeking to own an automatic firearm are required to pass a background check, mental evaluation, and proper safety training  
Article IIII: Any ownership of a firearm which kills indiscriminately is strictly prohibited.

Section III: Modifications

Article I: Modifications of a firearm are permitted if it abides by the following rules  
Clause I: The modification is conducted by a licensed professional.  
Clause II: The modification does not violate rules on automatic or indiscriminate firearms.  
Clause III: The modification does not destroy or harm a historical firearm.

Section IIII: Enactment

Article I: This act is to be put into effect by September 2026  
Article II: The Licensing Official position is to be created  
Clause I: This Official is responsible to record firearm ownership and eligibility, as well as conducting a census of gun owners every month
